KORRA Unveils Its New Smart Manufacturing Hub

Officially in Production – October 2023 | Yingyue Smart Manufacturing Industrial Center, Nanhai District, Foshan.

For global plumbing buyers, a supplier's facility relocation often raises legitimate concerns: lead‑time volatility, quality inconsistencies during ramp‑up, and unexpected audit hurdles. But KORRA's move is designed to systematically eliminate those worries – not create them.

In October 2023, KORRA – with 27 years of export experience serving North American and European markets – officially transferred its core shower enclosure production to the Yingyue Smart Manufacturing Industrial Center (No. 2 Nanping East Road, Guicheng Sub‑district, Nanhai District, Foshan). This is far more than a change of address. It is a deep‑rooted manufacturing upgrade built around the three things our international clients value most: on‑time delivery, batch‑to‑batch consistency, and audit readiness.

1. Owner‑Occupied Facility + Built‑In Flexibility – A Stable Supply Chain Anchor

The new plant spans 56,000 m² – and crucially, the entire facility is owned outright by KORRA's founder. That means zero rent volatility, zero risk of forced relocation, and a long‑term production base you can rely on.

  • 56,000 m²Total Plant Area
  • ~65%Current Capacity Utilization
  • 30-35 daysStandard Lead Time (Showers)

We currently operate at about 65% of planned capacity – not because demand is light, but because we deliberately reserve that buffer for peak‑season surges and large‑scale project orders. When your end‑market demand spikes, we can scale up quickly without outsourcing – keeping your delivery schedule intact and your supply chain risk low.

2. Digital Production & Automation – Minimizing Delay Riskse

Walk through the new workshop, and you'll see a facility that defies the typical image of a noisy, chaotic factory. We have fully deployed a digital integrated management system that connects procurement, incoming inspection, order planning, material feeding, in‑line quality checks, final assembly, warehousing, and shipping – all in real time. Wall‑mounted dashboards display daily production schedules, work‑in‑progress, and quality data for every order, giving full transparency at every step.

On the physical side, the assembly line now features robotic material‑handling arms and a mechanical vertical palletizing conveyor. These upgrades boost overall efficiency by nearly 20% while eliminating the scratches and packaging errors that manual handling can cause. Standard shower enclosures and shower trays ship in 30–35 days; bathtubs and massage bathtubs in 45–55 days. The new workflow is so smooth that "on‑time delivery" has become a given – not a promise.

3. Three‑Tier Quality Control + Full International Certifications – First‑Time Pass for Your Inspections

To tackle the age‑old problem of "sample OK, mass production not OK," we've built a three‑tier defense system into the new plant:

  • Pre‑production dry‑run: Before any batch goes into production, our technical team assembles one complete unit in our test area – verifying structure, fit, and accessories – so we never start mass production with unresolved issues.
  • Incoming material screening: All pumps and electrical components undergo 100% inspection. Hardware and plastic parts are sampled per GB2828 (equivalent to MIL‑STD‑105E) – defective materials never reach the line.
  • In‑house lab stress tests: Our fully equipped physical & chemical lab runs all tests to North American and European buyer standards – every day, not just for samples.

Key Lab Tests We Run Daily:

 Salt Spray (AASS/CASS/NSS) – 24~96 hrs

Glass Impact – 45kg sandbag drop test

 Roller/Hinge Life – 50,000+ cycles

 Heat Quench & Coating Adhesion

4. Market‑Specific Certifications – No Customs Surprises

Buyers rarely check aluminum alloy grades or oxide film thickness – until a product fails in a customer’s home. KORRA closes every potential gap in these “invisible” areas.

North America:cUPC, ETL, SGCC

Europe:CE, EN14428, BS 6206

Australia:WaterMark, PAS-Mark/S-Mark

Middle East / Africa:SASO/SABER, SONCAP

Additionally, we hold our own export license and can handle COC, CIQ, FORM A, FORM E, and other shipping documents – so your cargo clears customs smoothly from Shanghai to Savannah.

5. Packaging & Logistics – Engineered to Survive the Ocean Journey

To tackle the perennial issue of in‑transit damage, our new packaging zone has been specifically upgraded:

► Standard cartons use K=K or K=A grade 5‑ply double‑wall corrugated board.

► Large bathtubs and steam cabins are reinforced with eucalyptus‑wood crates.

► We offer a fully automated palletizing, stretch‑wrapping, and strapping line – shower doors and trays can be securely fixed on custom pallets, with a tilting machine that vertical‑loads them to prevent shifting inside containers.

► For items over 68 kg (150 lbs), we split packaging into multiple cartons – fully compliant with ISTA 1A / 3A transit tests – drastically reducing the risk of breakage during long‑haul shipping.

KORRA Shower Enclosure Export Protective Packaging: K=K Corrugated Cartons combined with solid wood pallet frames and stretch film wrapping, effectively preventing damage caused by cargo shifting and vibration during ocean freight.

KORRA Large Bathtub Heavy-Duty Wooden Crate: Customized fully enclosed plywood crates with metal corner edge protectors and a wooden pallet base, featuring excellent load-bearing capacity and safe double-stacking capability.
